St Stephen’s Church is situated in the middle of a large housing estate in Stoke-on-Trent, and is one of three churches that make up the Bucknall team ministry.

The Church building dates from 1956,
and is regularly used by local community groups.

Over the last 4 years the building has been completely refurbished and provides a warm, friendly, loving atmosphere in which to worship.

 

Church is much more than the building, it is people who make up the church, and we are a very happy family here at St. Stephen's and love to welcome new comers.

 

Testimony - Can God love me?

I always wondered WHY God wanted my attention, why did he want anything at all to do with ME… I am just an ordinary person: a wife, a mum, nothing special, that’s it !!! – WRONG

To God I am unique, I am special, he wants to spend every moment he can
in my life because HE LOVES ME!
The only way I could get my head around it is first realising that he is my creator to me he is my Heavenly Father, second If he is my Father, that makes me his child and I know how much I love my children and would go to the ends of the earth to protect them and give them what they need – that kind of answered my question
HE is interested in me because I am His child – He loves me plain and simple…and the best news is He loves everyone… we just need to accept that love from him.

Crèche Facilities
There are crèche facilities for 0-3s, with screen and speakers to ensure parents/carers are not excluded from Worship and Word.

Sunday Club
Our Sunday Club provides teaching and nurture for 4-11s.

Worship
Morning worship is informal and contemporary, this service seeks to be interactive with every person being engaged and included.
Evening Worship focuses on discipleship and intercessory prayer.
